Every ruling the app calculates carries a signed record of exactly how it was produced. Not a disclaimer buried in settings - a machine-checkable trace attached to the answer itself.

  • The model never does the maths

    Zakat, inheritance, fidya, and kaffarah run through deterministic engines. The receipt records model as null because no language model was involved in the number.

  • Citations resolve or they are removed

    Each reference is looked up in the canonical corpus. Unresolvable ones are stripped, and an answer left with zero citations becomes an abstention.

  • Disagreement is shown, not smoothed over

    Where the four schools differ, the receipt lists each position separately instead of silently picking one and presenting it as consensus.

  • The full rule trace is inspectable

    Every step from input to obligation is listed with the rule that fired, so a scholar can audit the reasoning rather than trusting the output.

Most Islamic AI apps are a prompt wrapped around a chat model. This is a retrieval pipeline with hard gates: it would rather refuse than fabricate a hadith number.

    The question is classified and screened. Crisis signals short-circuit everything and surface helplines immediately.

    Your school is bound to the query so retrieval ranks its positions first instead of averaging across all four.

    Hybrid retrieval

    Vector and keyword search run together over the Quran, graded hadith, and a scholar-reviewed dua corpus.

    Abstention gate

    Below the confidence threshold, or on a scholar-required topic, the pipeline stops and says so. This is a feature.

    Constrained generation

    The model may only compose from retrieved passages. It is never permitted to produce scripture or a ruling on its own.

The things you should actually ask

How is this different from the Islamic AI apps scholars have warned about?

Those apps let a language model answer directly, which is why they invent hadith numbers and blend rulings across schools. Here the model may only compose from passages retrieved out of the canonical corpus, and a validator then checks every citation resolves before you see it. Fiqh calculations never touch the model at all - they run through deterministic engines, and the answer carries a receipt recording that no model was involved.

What exactly do you collect?

The minimum needed for the feature you are using. Prayer times and Qibla are computed on your device, so your coordinates are never transmitted. Analytics default to off. There are no advertising SDKs or location brokers in the build, and that is enforced as a dependency policy rather than a setting. If you create an account for sync, you can export everything and delete all of it whenever you want.

Does it work without an internet connection?

The features you use most do. Prayer times, Qibla, all 114 surahs, dhikr, the tracker, the Hijri calendar, and the fiqh calculators run entirely offline. You need a connection only for AI questions, mosque iqama times, and multi-device sync.

Which school of thought does it follow?

Whichever you choose. You can set Hanafi, Shafi’i, Maliki, Hanbali, or ask for the mainstream position. Answers lead with your school and explicitly label the points where the four differ. They are never silently blended, because presenting one school’s position as universal consensus is how misinformation spreads.

Is the AI a substitute for asking a scholar?

No, and it is built to say so. Every fiqh answer carries a disclaimer that it is general information rather than a personal fatwa. Topics flagged as scholar-required - inheritance splits, divorce, medical-religious edge cases - trigger an abstention with a referral instead of an answer. When retrieval confidence is low it also abstains rather than guessing.

What happens to my private entries, like mood or health tracking?

Sensitive stores - mood, dreams, cycle tracking, wills, and the family PIN - are encrypted at rest on the device and excluded from OS-level backups on both platforms. Under Family Mode they are scoped per profile at the data-access layer, so there is no query path that lets one profile read another’s private data. It is a structural guarantee, not a hidden menu item.

Why is there a paid tier at all?

Because the alternative is worse. An app with no business model is being paid by someone, for something, and in this category that has meant selling worship and location data. Charging directly is what lets us promise your data is not the product. The free tier is genuinely usable and permanently ad-free.

When is the iOS version available?
