Delete your account

Open the app, go to Settings, then Privacy and data, and tap Delete account. The app shows the deletion as in progress and confirms only when the server reports it complete. No form and no waiting period beyond what the law requires.

If you no longer have the app installed, cannot sign in, or simply prefer not to use it, you can request deletion by email. This page is our web deletion request channel.

• Send an email to privacy@quranislampro.com with the subject “Delete my account”.
• Send it from the email address on your account so we can verify you own it. Only the account owner can trigger deletion, so we never act on a request that does not come from the account email.
• We reply to confirm, then run the deletion and email you when it completes.

A deletion request removes your account and the data tied to it. It runs as a saga so every step is recorded and retried until it finishes.

• Your synced data: bookmarks, reading progress, prayer records, and any other stored records.
• Your authentication record, so the account can no longer sign in.
• Your subscription records held by our payment processor (RevenueCat), and any Stripe customer record if one exists.
• Payment webhook and event rows associated with your account.

Most deletions complete within minutes of confirmation. If a step cannot complete immediately, the request stays in progress and retries in the background until every step succeeds. We email you when it is done. Formal data requests are always completed within the timeframe required by law.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to keep a copy of your data, export it from the app before you delete, or ask for an export in the same email. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail of what we store and your rights, or contact us with any question.
